Cycling for mental health

We are so proud of our team for taking on the challenge to Cycle for Mental Health. Bringing the momentum from our ‘Steptember’ fitness challenge, our team members signed up to ride 228km across one week (per person) in support of Wesley Mission Queensland’s commitment to suicide prevention initiatives.

Throughout the week, we reflected on the importance of mental health awareness and the challenges that anyone around us could be facing completely unbeknownst to us. Removing the stigma around mental health and providing avenues to access mental health services are key to preventing suicide across Queensland and beyond.

The Mojo team used Wesley Mission Queensland’s purpose as motivation throughout the most challenging of rides. By doing so, our team managed to raise more than double our initial goal of $1,000. It’s amazing what a community can achieve when we come together for a common good.

If you are so inclined, it’s not too late to donate to the Mojo Soup page and support Wesley Mission Queensland’s incredible work.
